InkedIn
Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you use our website and services.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Who we are
InkedIn (Inked-in L.L.C.) provides custom 3D printing, 3D scanning and related products and services in the UAE. This policy explains how information is handled when you use inkedin-ae.com, contact us or use our online shop.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@inkedin-ae.com or call/WhatsApp +971 50 504 5649.
2. Information you provide
Enquiries: Our contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address and message. Name, phone and email are required. We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare a quote and follow up on your request. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the contact details and content you choose to send through that service.
Orders and accounts: The site uses WooCommerce for its shop, cart, checkout and customer-account functions. When you use these functions, information may include account details, billing and delivery details, products ordered, order notes and transaction information, depending on the fields and payment option used. This information supports order processing, delivery, customer service and related records. Payment information is handled through the payment method selected; any payment provider’s own privacy notice also applies.
Custom projects: You may choose to send photos, 3D files, scans, designs or a project brief for a quotation or production. Please send only information needed for your request and ensure you are entitled to share material relating to other people. The Terms & Conditions contain additional provisions for reference photos, 3D data and production contractors.
3. Website data, cookies and similar technologies
Website and third-party services receive technical information when your browser connects to them, such as your IP address, browser/device information, the page requested and the time of the request. Cookies and browser storage can support shop sessions, cart contents, account access, traffic statistics and advertising measurement.
WooCommerce order-attribution features can record how a visitor reached the site, including referring pages and campaign parameters. The site also loads resources such as fonts from external providers; those requests disclose technical connection information to the provider.
4. Google Ads and lead-conversion measurement
We use the Google tag (gtag.js) and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure website interactions and advertising performance. The current tracking records successful contact-form submissions, WhatsApp-link clicks and clicks on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok links.
The restored lead-tracking code sends the conversion destination ID and label for the interaction. Google may also receive page, device, cookie and advertising-click information through its tag. The contact-form tracking code identifies successful submissions of our enquiry form locally; it does not send the name, phone number, email address or message entered in the form as part of the conversion event payload. A WhatsApp-click event records the click on our site, not the contents of your subsequent WhatsApp conversation.
Google may use cookies or similar technologies to connect an ad interaction with a later action on the site and provide campaign measurement. See how Google uses information from sites using its services and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can manage Google ad-personalisation preferences through Google Ad Settings.
5. Other measurement services
Meta: Meta Pixel, advanced matching and product-catalogue syncing are currently disabled in our website integration. Links to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp remain available; those services apply their own privacy policies when you visit them. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Automattic: We use WooCommerce to manage orders and store reporting. WooCommerce order attribution can record referral and campaign information associated with an order. Jetpack Stats is not currently enabled. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
6. WhatsApp, social links and service providers
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok take you to services operated by other organisations. Their privacy policies apply to information you provide there and their use of cookies and account information. Clicking a link can also be measured on this website as described above.
Information is handled through the services needed for the interaction you choose, such as website hosting, email delivery, shop and payment functions, and delivery of an order. Advertising and statistics providers receive the information described in this policy. For custom production, the Terms & Conditions describe limited sharing of design data with third-party modeling contractors. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law.
7. Retention and international processing
How long information needs to be retained depends on the enquiry or order, ongoing customer support, the type of record, and applicable legal, accounting or dispute-related requirements. Contact us to ask about retention or deletion of information relating to you. Specific provisions for reference photos and 3D data are set out in the Terms & Conditions; this policy does not extend those provisions.
Providers such as Google, Meta, WhatsApp and Automattic operate internationally. Information they receive may be processed in countries outside the UAE under their applicable privacy terms. The location and arrangements depend on the service involved; contact us if you need more information about a particular disclosure or transfer.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose what optional information to include in an enquiry. Without the contact or order details needed for a request, we may be unable to respond or fulfil it. Browser settings let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect account, cart or checkout functions. Cookie controls and advertising-personalisation settings do not necessarily stop every technical request or all measurement.
Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Send requests to info@inkedin-ae.com. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or address an ongoing matter. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
9. Security and policy updates
This website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit between your browser and the site. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in a general enquiry.
We may update this policy when the website or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Please contact us using the details in section 1 if you have questions.
